Health Insurance Plan
The Lawrenceville School offers a Point of Service (POS) plan through Aetna. This plan provides for preventive and medical services, including office visits, well baby care, immunizations, hospitalizations, worldwide emergency care and prescription drug coverage. Employee contribution towards premium depending upon level of coverage. Enrollment occurs the first of the month after a two-month eligibility waiting period.
Dental Insurance Plan
The Lawrenceville School offers a DMO, PDO and Traditional plan. These plans provide for diagnostic and preventative care, routine check ups, restorative care and oral surgery. Employee contribution towards premium depending upon level of coverage. One is eligible for enrollment the first of the month after two months employment.
Group Life Insurance Plan
Life insurance in the amount of $50,000 is offered to employees with an additional $50,000 payable in event of accidental death. Premiums are paid by the School and coverage is effective the first of the month after two months of employment.
Long-term Disability Plan
The employee is eligible for disability coverage after one year of employment. The plan pays 60% of salary to the maximum allowable in eligible cases. Premiums for the plan are paid fully by the School.
TIAA/CREF Pension Plan
The School contributes a percentage of the employee's base salary to the retirement plan after two years of employment. Credit toward eligibility is given for full time employment at a teaching institution in the two years immediately prior to employment at Lawrenceville.
Short-term Disability & Unemployment Insurance
The School pays premiums for these coverages effective with employment. Short-term disability pays a portion of the employee's salary for the first six months of disability.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
All employees are covered by this plan effective with employment. EAP is a confidential advisory and referral program available to you and your immediate family members without charge. Worker's Compensation
All employees are covered by this plan effective with employment. Employee receives 70% of gross salary up to the maximum amount permitted by law for that particular year as long as needed for a work-related injury.
Flexible Spending Account
Pre-tax plan for medical premiums and unreimbursed medical expenses in addition to child care.
Child Care Center
Child Care discounts and priority enrollment are available.
School Facilities
Lunch provided at the dining center. Use of the fitness center, library, golf and tennis membership etc.
Credit Union
Membership is available to Lawrenceville employees through the Princeton University Credit Union.
