Congratulations to Prateek Bajaj '09, who has been given a William Bouton Welles '71 grant and will use it to study tabla, a percussion instrument from North India, this summer. Prateek plans to spend the month of July at a tabla school in Delhi, India, followed by two weeks at a camp in California studying with Zakhir Hussain, famed tabla virtuoso.

At the annual Electronic Music Art Show, everything is a debut. In fact, some of the works that will be played at 7 p.m. Friday, May 2 in Dresdner Hall of Clark Music Center aren't even finished — they are works in progress. The show is open to the public.
