Chinese Language Trip to Nanjing & Beijing

Lawrenceville has developed an exchange relationship with the Nanjing Foreign Language School, one of the best high schools in China. This summer’s trip will be our third trip to this institution, and we have hosted students from this school for the past few years at Lawrenceville. We have also just created a new exchange relationship with one of Beijing's top schools, Beijing High School # 4.  The exchange program provides students an opportunity to speak Chinese, attend classes, stay with students from both of the schools in a home-stay environment, and experience Chinese culture first hand. Arriving in Shanghai, and spending the first night there, students will then travel via high speed train first to Nanjing, and after one week, will proceed to Beijing for the final week.  In both locales, besides the experience with the schools and homestay families, small tourist excursions are planned.
