  • Cindy Ehret '95

    Admission Interviewer

    Cindy Ehret is a 1995 Lawrenceville graduate who returned in 1999 to work in the School's Admission Office. She presently serves as a Part-Time Associate Dean and has also coached Lawrenceville's girls' swimming and softball teams. In addition, Ehret has worked with the Second Form as Co-Dean, served as Co-Director of Student Activities, and has been an Academic Advisor in both the Crescent and the Circle. Cindy received her bachelor's degree from Dickinson College.

  • Lisa Ewanchyna

    Senior Associate Dean of Admission for Recruitment

    Assistant Housemaster of Stephens
    Lisa Ewanchyna currently serves as the School’s Senior Associate Dean of Admission for Recruiting. In addition to her work in the Admission Office, the Princeton University graduate is the Housemaster of Stephens House, an academic advisor, and head coach of the Big Red girls’ varsity field hockey team. She became a full-time employee of the School in 2010, after coaching the field hockey team in 2007 and joining the Admission Department in 2008, both part-time positions.

  • Sally Fitzpatrick H'85 P'99 '04

    Senior Associate Dean of Admission

    Appointed in 1995
    Sally Fitzpatrick has been a member of Lawrenceville's Admission team since 1992, most recently as an Associate Dean. Fitzpatrick has also worked in the admission offices of Middlebury College (from which she graduated) and Princeton University. She came to Lawrenceville in 1979, along with her husband Allen '73 H '85 '89 (chair of Lawrenceville's Visual Arts Department), and served as Crescent Level Director. The Fitzpatricks are the parents of two Lawrenceville graduates, Kate '99 and Lilly '04.

  • Vanessa Gieske

    Assistant Dean of Admission

    Appointed 2014
    Vanessa Gieske became a part-time member of the Lawrenceville School Admission Office in 2011. She is now a full time Assistant Dean of Admission.  She previously worked as an art director in New York City. Her husband, Hardy, is a Lawrenceville mathematics teacher and Woodhull Housemaster. She is a University of Vermont graduate.

  • Lauren Z. Gold

    Associate Dean of Admission

    Lauren Z. Gold joined Lawrenceville in 2015 as Associate Dean of Admission. Prior to Lawrenceville, Lauren was Assistant Director of Admissions at Harvard Law School and previously worked at boarding schools both here in the States and overseas. Originally from California, Lauren attended The Hotchkiss School, Bates College, and Harvard Graduate School of Education.  After spending time in higher education, Lauren looks forward to rejoining a boarding school community and getting involved in all aspects of school life.

  • Tracey Hazelton-Werts

    Assistant to Dean of Admission

    Tracey graduated from Rider University with a degree in Business Administration.  She began her non-profit career here at Lawrenceville in 2003 as a member of the Alumni and Development staff.  She re-joins Lawrenceville from the Development Office of the Princeton Healthcare System Foundation.

  • Tran Kim-Senior

    Tran Kim-Senior came to Lawrenceville in 2012 and joined the admissions office in 2014.  She has developed her career in education as an admissions officer at Connecticut College and the College of the Holy Cross and a student affairs and social justice education practitioner at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Along with her responsibilities in the admissions office, she also serves as the Coordinator of Intercultural Programs, a duty master and academic advisor in Griswold House, and advisor to Students Talking About Racism (STAR) and the Diversity Council. Her husband, Norman Kim-Senior, is a Spanish Master, Housemaster in Griswold House and coach to the boys freshman soccer team. Kim-Senior holds a B.A. in political science and mass communications from Washington and Lee University and an M.Ed in Higher Education with a certificate in Social Justice Eduction from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.

  • Kevin Lawrence

    Associate Dean of Admission

    Kevin Lawrence rejoined the Lawrenceville School Admission team in 2012-13 as an Associate Director of Admission. He first came to the School in 2010 in the same capacity, and will again serve as an assistant coach to the Big Red varsity football and boys' track and field teams. Before working at Lawrenceville, Lawrence was an Assistant Director of Admission and Coordinator of Multi-Cultural Admissions at his alma mater, the Avon Old Farms School in Conn. He is a graduate of Northwestern University.

  • Pat MacKinnon

    Visit Coordinator

    Pat joined the Admission Team as the Visit Coordinator in October of 2007. She attended NJCU majoring in Psychology. Her previous work experience included 15 years as an Administrative and Human Resource Manager for a major insurance company.

  • Vicky Martinez

    Associate Dean of Admission
    Assistant Director of Multicultural Affairs

    Vicky Martinez came to Lawrenceville in 2006 and serves as both an Associate Dean of Admission and Assistant Director of Multicultural Affairs. For three years, Martinez was a Kirby House Assistant Housemaster and is now a Raymond House Duty Master. She is the head coach of the Big Red junior varsity basketball and softball teams. Martinez received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University and her M.A. from Seton Hall University.

  • Grace Megaffin

    Assistant Dean of Admission

    Grace Megaffin joined the Lawrenceville Admission Office in July of 2015. She has been working in boarding school Admission since graduating from Connecticut College in 2012. In addition to her responsibilities as an Assistant Dean of Admission, she is an assistant coach for the Girls' Varsity Lacrosse team.

  • Thomas Sheppard

    Dean of Admission and Financial Aid
    Tom Sheppard assumed the position of Dean of Admission and Financial Aid at the Lawrenceville School on July 1, 2013. He began his career path in 1991 when he joined the faculty at Perkiomen School (Pennsburg, Pa.) where he taught history, coached football, swimming, and baseball and served as dorm parent.  After five years of experience in the classroom, Sheppard became Director of Admission and Financial Aid at Trinity Pawling School (Pawling, N.Y.) in 1996. In 1999, Sheppard assumed the role of Director of Admission at Stevenson School (Pebble Beach Calif.), a position he held until 2012 when he became Director of Enrollment Management.  Sheppard holds a B.A. from Washington and Lee University and earned a master of education degree in educational leadership from Lehigh University.

  • Sara Tucker

    Director of Financial Aid

    Before coming to Lawrenceville in 1998, Sara Tucker was the Dean of Admission and Financial Aid at the Latin School in Chicago and Cranbrook Schools in Michigan. In addition to her Admission Office duties, Tucker is a Day Advisor and Duty Master in Reynolds House. She received a B.F.A. from Eastern Michigan University.

  • Samuel Washington '81 P'14 '17

    Senior Associate Dean of Admission
    Director of Multicultural Affairs

    Appointed in 1999
    Sam Washington is a 1981 Lawrenceville graduate who returned in 1999 to work in the School's Admission Office. He serves as both an Associate Dean of Admission and the School's Director of Multicultural Affairs as well as a Second Form boys' Advisor. He has a B.A. from Boston College. He is the Assistant Boys Varsity Basketball Coach and an Associate of Davidson.

  • Doreen Weinberg

    Office Manager

    Doreen started at Lawrenceville in July of 2012.  Previously, she worked at Princeton Day School for eight years in the Alumni/Development Office.  She attended Berkeley College and received a certificate in the Cooperative Secretarial Program.
