Tuition Details

The full rate for boarding students includes board, room, and tuition. Medical service provided by the School's staff at the Al Rashid Health and Wellness Center includes physical examinations, professional attention, routine medicines, unlimited board and routine nursing. The full rate for day students includes tuition, lunches, breakfast and dinners when desired, all fees for athletics, lectures, and professional attention in the Health and Wellness Center during school hours.

Extra charges not included in tuition are: mandatory tuition refund insurance, fees for supplies used in special courses, textbooks and supplies, and personal athletic equipment. All of the above average approximately $1000 per year. Special medical consultations, special nurses, and x-rays are also charged separately. Other incidental expenses for special course fees and club dues will be billed directly to parents.

Tuition may be paid in a single payment (due July 15th), in two payments (due July 15th and December 15th), or through a monthly payment plan which is administered through Tuition Management Services (TMS). Each family must participate in one of the three payment plans by making their selection on the enrollment/re-enrollment agreement and will be billed according to their plan selection. All families who elect to participate in the monthly payment plan will be enrolled in the plan by the School and contacted directly by TMS.

Because the School must commit itself to its operating costs a year in advance, no rebate of the annual charge can be made in the case of withdrawal or dismissal. A tuition refund insurance program, pro-rated on a weekly basis, is available through A.W.G. Dewar, Inc., and is mandatory unless the tuition is paid in full by July 15th.

Students who are engaged in term-away projects are considered still enrolled at Lawrenceville and are not entitled to any rebate.

The School does not carry health insurance for students nor does it assume responsibility for accidents or for the loss of or damage to personal property. A Student Accident and Sickness Plan is available for students who do not have health insurance coverage or desire supplemental coverage, but parents desiring coverage for personal property should make arrangements with their own insurance carriers.
