RECORD BREAKING NEWS FROM LAWRENCEVILLE!

The Lawrenceville Fund, The Lawrenceville School’s annual giving campaign, concluded the 2014-15 campaign on June 30, 2015 on a high note!  3,471 alumni (36%) and 694 current and past parents (58%) gave $6,265,019, a new record for Lawrenceville.  Alumni gave $4,348,233 and current parents, past parents and grandparents gave $1,870,036.  Friends of Lawrenceville provided $46,750 to the Fund.

Leading this year’s alumni campaign were ninety-one members (71%) of the Class of 1965 who gave $360,333 to The Lawrenceville Fund for their 50th Reunion and a remarkable $3,426,097 for their total class reunion gift.

These extraordinary results are the culmination of the unequivocal hard work over many months by hundreds of Lawrenceville volunteers.  They were inspired by The Lawrenceville Fund Co-chairs John Wellemeyer ’55 P’18, Greg Melconian ’87, Fritz Thomas ’83 P’18 ’19, Cahill Zoeller ’00 and Ray Strecker ’00.  The Lawrenceville Parents Fund was superbly ably led by Sandra Allen P’14 ’16 ’17; Erin Enright P’13 ’16 ’18, Diane Kazalski P’15, Rob McClellan H’65 P’10 and John Wellemeyer ’55 P’18. All Lawrentians and all Lawrenceville parents should be very proud of this result.

Happy Birthday, America!  Go, Big Red!
