Lawrenceville takes pride in the quality of its students and faculty and values highly the warm supportive community they foster. The School maintains high expectations for all with regard to personal behavior.
Supporting these expectations requires a clear statement of rules, a minimum standard of behavior. All students must read The Student Handbook, thoroughly, as it is a guide that outlines all school rules and regulations. The cases of students in violation of these rules will be considered by the Dean of Students in consultation with the appropriate Housemaster or Day Student Adviser. Together they will decide upon a response that considers both the degree of culpability and the well-being of the community. Although consistency is desirable, it will not always be the principle governing matters of discipline.
