Lawrenceville Mourns the Passing of Recently Retired Employee Doreen C. Nowicki

Doreen C. Nowicki, 56, of Robbinsville, N.J. passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2013 in Robert Wood University Hospital at Hamilton.

Born in Trenton, N.J., Doreen was a longtime area resident. She was a graduate of Hamilton High School East, and recently retired from the Lawrenceville School after 29 years of dedicated employment, serving most recently as the School's Benefits Manager.

Doreen enjoyed arts and crafts with her daughter Melissa, along with camping, fishing, wildflowers and vegetable gardening.

Predeceased by her father Herbert Rodenbaugh, her mother-in-law and father-in-law Edward and Mildred Nowicki, and her brothers, S. Glenn Rodenbaugh and Edward Noebels, she is survived by her loving husband Edward Nowicki, Jr., her daughter Melissa Nowicki; sons, Christopher J. Ryan and Michael (Kate) Nowicki; her mother, Catherine Rodenbaugh; her siblings, Patricia Dekovitch, Audrey Tate, Kathy Breckenridge, Marlene Rodenbaugh, Herbert (Marge) Rodenbaugh, Alan (Valerie) Rodenbaugh and Madeline (Steve) Melton; four granddaughters; a longtime friend, Amanda Oldfield, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, at 6:30 pm at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, N.J.

Relatives and friends may call on Thursday from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the Saul Colonial Home.
