Course Guides/Independent Study

A course guide can be prepared and put into your course Blackboard site that emphasizes the best print, research database and internet sources. For further information please contact Lorie Harding (lharding@lawreneceville.org)

For Students: Doing or thinking about doing an Independent Study Project that involves research? You may need materials that are only available from other libraries. Librarians at the Bunn Library are here to help. We can use our Interlibrary Loan service to acquire items we don't have, help you navigate larger and sometimes intimidating academic libraries nearby, and in some cases make you an appointment with a reference professional there. We also can help you gauge how much information exists or is needed for your study. For more information see Mrs. McCall, Mrs. Clancy or Mrs. Harding.

For Teachers: If you are supervising independent research this term or in the spring semester, the library encourages you to have your student connect with a librarian when they begin the research process. Please let us know if you would like us to reach out to any students who may be hesitant to contact us, or if you have any questions.
