On Campus : Bunn Library

Opened in 1996, the Bunn Library is an architectural delight that houses a highly advanced research and learning center with a capacity for nearly 100,000 volumes. In addition to small group study rooms, individual study carrels, and a music listening room, the library includes an electronic classroom equipped with computers and a video projection system for teaching and interactive learning. The library offers an online catalog, research databases, and Internet access. The library also has 15 laptops for in-library use and 340 public ports for student laptops.

The Bunn Library's collection presently includes more than 58,000 volumes, both fiction and nonfiction, over 1,500 videos and DVDs, 225 current periodicals, more than 10 newspapers, and an extensive back file of periodicals. The Library also hosts various programs such as The Merrill Memorial Poetry Seminar, student club events, and special speakers. To assist students and faculty in their research, the library staff provide interlibrary loan services through the New Jersey Regional Library System and the OCLC Network. Lawrenceville's six professional librarians offer general orientation sessions, teach classes on how to do research in specific disciplines, and are available to assist individual students with research projects.
