Parents
The Parents Fund set a new record during the 2010-2011 campaign raising $1,649,291 in unrestricted gifts from 695 current parents, past parents and grandparents. Thanks to the generosity from these families, the School was able strengthen its core programs, meet unexpected needs and embrace new opportunities while maintaining important Lawrenceville traditions: Harkness teaching and the House system.
The Lawrenceville Parents Fund (TLPF) regularly accounts for approximately one-quarter of the money raised by The Lawrenceville Fund (TLF) and is charged with raising unrestricted gifts from current parents, parents of alumni and grandparents. The Parents Fund, chaired by Erin Enright P’13, Mac Gardner P’11’13’15 and Steffen Parratt P’09’14, is consistently successful thanks to its many dedicated volunteers.
Goals for 2011-2012
Please join your fellow Lawrenceville parents in making a gift to the Parents Fund. Your gift assists the School by producing vital support for the current operation of the School. That support provides Lawrenceville with the resources necessary to fund critical attributes – scholarship support, a low student/faculty ratio, exceptional student activities, and first-rate facilities – as well as to sustain important Lawrenceville traditions, such as Harkness teaching and the residential House system.
Pledges are welcome, but must be honored by June 30, 2012 when the Parents Fund fiscal year ends. Remember that your gift can be doubled if you or your spouse is associated with a company or foundation that matches gifts to secondary schools.
