Our Mission

The goal of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Task Force is to assess our diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts and to make recommendations aimed at increasing our overall diversity while building a more equitable sense of belonging among all community members.

  • Diversity: Building a community at Lawrenceville that includes the presence and participation of people with many varieties of identities, perspectives, experiences, and ideas.

  • Equity: Ensuring fair treatment, equality of opportunity, and equality of access to information, resources, and outcomes for all students, faculty, and staff.

  • Inclusion: Creating a School culture in which every community member feels welcomed, respected, and valued.

Our Commitment

We are mindful of the expectations that the formation of a Task Force on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion creates and we are committed to growth each year. The work of the Task Force does not have a hard end date because this work is never finished, though over time we anticipate that its purpose and configuration may evolve.
