History Master Erik Chaput’s review of “Lincoln and the Abolitionists” by Stanley Harrold has been published in the August 2019 edition of the Journal of Southern History. In his review, Chaput (who also serves as Lawrenceville’s Capstone Director and Co-Chair of the School’s Interdisciplinary Studies Department) lauds the author for his “clear, concise prose and careful eye for detail that have been trademarks of his long and distinguished career.” You can read the entire review in on the Journal of Southern History website.
