Ready, set, go … around the world with Lawrenceville School Harkness Travel Programs in spring and summer 2020! Current Lawrentians can choose from more than a dozen international and domestic travel opportunities. These are once-in-a-lifetime chances for students to discover new plant species in Ecuador, hike the Himalayas, study math and philosophy in Greece, assist underserved families in Guatemala, and more!
All Lawrentians are encouraged to apply be a part of the Harkness Travel Program. Financial aid students are eligible to receive aid for one program during their time at Lawrenceville and, if selected to participate, are awarded the same percentage of aid that they receive towards tuition.
The 2019 Weeden Lecture, delivered by Joanne B. Freeman, the Class of 1954 Professor of History and American Studies at Yale University, reminded Lawrentians that matters in Congress could always be worse.
Through House and Harkness, Lawrenceville challenges a diverse community of promising young people to lead lives of learning, integrity, and high purpose. Our mission is to inspire the best in each to seek the best for all.
