  • Class Secretary

Thank you for serving as a Class Secretary at The Lawrenceville School. We are always happy to hear news from all Lawrentians. Several guidelines and tips for submission of Class Notes are outlined on this sheet.

    Sending Your Notes:
Please email Class Notes to the editor of   by the due date listed below for each issue. Class Notes may also be sent by U.S Mail (The Lawrenceville School, PO Box 6008, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648) or fax (609-620-6515). The editor will also provide you with these due dates on a quarterly basis. We are happy to accept Microsoft Word documents (.doc) if submitting via email.

We are able to accept .jpeg files for submission. Please enclose any photos, in order of priority, with your submission. If sending electronically, please send all photos as attachments — please do not embed photos in your .doc file or drop into the email body. Please submit high-resolution photos of 300 dpi or better. The editor is happy to help you with this step. Every photo submitted needs a corresponding caption in a Word file, identifying the event and those pictured. Please note that photos are selected for publication by the editor of The Lawrentian. Unfortunately, not all submitted photos make it into print.

    Style Notes:
The first paragraph of your notes is not indented, but all subsequent paragraphs are indented. If noting a classmate, please bold their name the every time it appears in The Lawrentian. If discussing a friend from another class, please do not bold but include their class year. For example, “ John Doe had dinner with Bob Smith ’65, in Oregon.”

Please limit content to alumni news only; to minimize editing for space, please keep notes as succinct as possible. Please try to avoid content of an editorial nature in Class Notes. Submitted materials of this nature may be removed at the discretion of the editor. If you have any questions about content, we are happy to help.
