While we certainly hope for a beautiful Alumni Reunion Weekend, inclement weather is possible. Alumni Reunion Weekend will continue rain or shine. If severe weather requires us to adjust event locations or plans, we will communicate this to guests via text message.
We strongly recommend looking at the local weather ahead of your travels and planning your wardrobe accordingly.
Red & Black Soirée
Dress Code: Festive Red & Black (Smart Casual/Party Attire)
Attire for the evening typically falls between casual and cocktail: dress pants, collared shirts, blouses, dresses, or other polished ensembles are all appropriate. Blazers and ties are optional. Festive red and black encouraged! This all-classes welcome party and buffet dinner is held indoors in Tsai Commons (the dining area of the new Tsai Field House).
Saturday Lunch (Big Red Food Truck Picnic & 50th and Legends BBQ)
Dress Code: Casual
The Big Red Food Truck Picnic is held outdoors in the Circle. The 50th & Legends BBQ is held on the patio of Abbott Dining Hall. Sneakers or other comfortable footwear recommended. As always, red and black and Lawrenceville spiritwear welcome and encouraged.
Saturday Class Dinners
Dress Code: Festive Red & Black (Smart Casual/Cocktail Attire)
Attire for Saturday evening’s Class Dinners is generally left to each class’s discretion. Most attendees opt for cocktail attire—dress pants and button-downs with jackets, stylish dresses, or other polished ensembles. Red and black are always encouraged.
Reunion classes celebrating their 5th through 45th will dine outdoors under tents. We recommend footwear suitable for walking on grass—polished looks with comfortable shoes (yes, even sneakers with cocktail attire) are entirely appropriate.
Class dinners for the 50th Reunion and above will be held indoors.
We welcome our youngest Lawrentians to join the Alumni Reunion Weekend festivities! The weekend is full of family-friendly activities, as well as activities specifically geared towards children. Some of these include:
A family restroom with changing table is available in Abbott Dining Hall, and lactation rooms are available in Tsai Field House on Friday and Hogate Hall on Saturday. These will be noted on the Alumni Weekend Campus Map.
Children are warmly welcomed at daytime reunion events. However, please note that evening events on Friday and Saturday are reserved for guests 21 and older. Guests under 21 years of age are not permitted to attend the Red & Black Soiree on Friday or the Class Cocktail Hours and Dinners on Saturday.
Lawrenceville is unable to provide onsite childcare during Alumni Weekend. In recent years, alumni attending with children have made arrangements by bringing a trusted caregiver, hiring a sitter through services such as care.com or sittercity.com, or connecting with local classmates and friends for recommendations.
Registration/tickets are required to attend the following Alumni Weekend events:
We encourage early registration, and offer discounted pricing to those who register in advance.
Online registration will close on Monday, May 18, 2026. Walk-in registration will be available throughout the weekend. If you need to make changes to your registration, you may do so online, or at the registration table during the weekend.
Registration for the Big Red Food Truck Picnic includes four vouchers to be used at any of the food trucks. Children’s tickets for the Big Red Food Truck Picnic (free for children ages 12 and under) include one meal voucher and one dessert voucher. Additional vouchers will be available for purchase on site, if desired.
Refunds will be issued for cancellations made by 5:00 pm EST on Thursday, May 28, 2026. After this date we will have given counts and guarantees to our vendors and we cannot accommodate refunds. If you need a refund please email your request to aw@lawrenceville.org.
*The Red & Black Soiree, Big Red Beer Garden, and Class Cocktail Hours & Dinners are reserved for guests ages 21 and older. Guests under the age of 21, including children, are not permitted to attend.
By Car
Please use the address 2500 Main Street, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648 for your GPA. The main entrance (Gaw Entrance) to campus is located on Route 206 near the golf course (north of Foundation House, Starbucks, and Lawrenceville Presbyterian Church). Follow this entrance to the parking lots near Tsai Field House.
By Rideshare
If using Uber, Lyft, or another rideshare service, we recommend dropping a pin to your desired location on campus. On Friday and for the Saturday daytime events, the best drop-off/pick-up location is in front of Tsai Field House (there is a small circle next to the gravel parking lot). For the Saturday evening events, the best drop-off/pick-up location is outside of Clark Music Hall.
By Air
Philadelphia and Newark airports are within a 50-mile radius of the School. Trenton-Mercer Airport is within 10 miles of the school, and solely offers flights through Frontier Airlines and general aviation. Automobile rental is available at all airports. When flying into Newark, you can take AirTrain Newark from the airport to the nearest NJ Transit station. From there, you can board a NJ Transit train to Princeton Junction, Hamilton, or Trenton, or an Amtrak train directly to Trenton.
By Rail
Trains for Princeton Junction, Hamilton, and Trenton (NJ Transit) frequently leave Penn Station in New York, and William H. Gray III 30th Street Station in Philadelphia (SEPTA). Amtrak express trains to Trenton are available from both Penn Station in NY, and 30th Street Station in Philadelphia. Taxis are available at Trenton, Hamilton, and Princeton Junction stations, and the distance to the School from each location is approximately 8 miles.
By Bus
The Suburban Transit Company has regular bus service from Manhattan’s Port Authority Terminal at 42nd Street and 8th Avenue to Princeton, where you can connect to a #606 New Jersey Transit bus to Trenton with stops in Lawrenceville. In Trenton, at the New Jersey Transit train and bus station on South Clinton Avenue (exact change required).
While the spirit of the Lawrenceville you know and love remains, campus may look a little different from the last time you visited. Please refer to the Alumni Weekend Campus Map to get your bearings and identify locations for the weekend’s activities.
Golf cart transportation will be available throughout the weekend to assist you in traveling around campus. Our Alumni Office transportation team will make regular loops around campus, so keep an eye out and flag down a cart if you see one and would like a ride. Our drivers will make regular trips to and from the main parking lots. Drivers are almost always available outside of Tsai Field House.
To request a cart at a specific location, please call (609) 895-2092 and we will get one to you as soon as possible.
