Join us for your 50th Reunion, when The Lawrenceville School celebrates your class and your longstanding connection and commitment to Big Red.
Each May, Alumni Weekend attracts more than 1,000 alumni, family and friends to campus to reunite with classmates; explore the campus; go Back to Class; enjoy picnics, parties, and sports; and, of course, join the Grand March!

The 50th Reunion is arguably the most important milestone a class celebrates together. It is an opportunity to reconnect with Lawrenceville, experience the School and the occasion for the 50th Reunion Class to reflect on its unique legacy to the School.

It is  a rare chance to witness a unique experiment, to reach back into time and observe the then and the now from the 1960s and 1970s. What is the effect of a half century of rapid societal development? Did some people change markedly? Did some stay the same? To satisfy your curiosity of how everyone turned out.  As an exercise in inquiry, how could you pass up this opportunity?

The enthusiasm surrounding this reunion drives the activities of the 50th Reunion Campaign. The success of a reunion rests on the number of classmates returning to campus and a high level of participation in the 50th Reunion Class Gift.

As you approach your 50th Reunion, we ask that you reflect thoughtfully on your years at Lawrenceville and join your classmates on campus for Alumni Weekend. We also hope you will consider making a personally meaningful financial investment in the future of the School in celebration of your 50th Reunion.
The Class Reunion Gift
The Class Reunion Gift recognizes a broad range of current and future gifts.  All  new gifts and gift intentions beginning on July 1 of the 46th reunion year and ending on June 30 of the 50th reunion year, are included to encourage stretch gifts and more expansive thinking about gift possibilities. If you choose to make a pledge, you will have five years to fulfill your commitment – allowing you to maximize the impact of your gift to Lawrenceville.
Here are some of the ways you can contribute to your Class Reunion Gift:

  • The Lawrenceville Fund

The Lawrenceville Fund is the School’s annual fund, which makes up about 10 percent of the School’s operating expenses each year. These most commonly include financial aid, faculty support, athletics, and the arts.
  • Capital Giving

Capital gifts provide essential funds to maintain those qualities that define Lawrenceville. These gifts include endowed funds for scholarships, campus infrastructure and faculty chairs, as well as funding for current projects and operational needs.
  • Planned Giving

Planned gifts to Lawrenceville include bequests, life-income arrangements, and other deferred gifts. Making a planned gift to Lawrenceville also qualifies you for membership in the John Cleve Green Society. For more information, visit the Planned Giving page.
  • Gifts of Securities

Gifts of long-term appreciated stock (owned for a year or longer) and mutual funds offer a quick and tax efficient way to make a lasting gift to Lawrenceville. Visit the Marketable Securities page for more information.
