My favorite parts of working at Lawrenceville are my students and my colleagues, but I'm also very conscious and grateful that we work in a community where trying new ideas and growing from one's mistakes is an everyday expectation.
We will support the goals and challenges of The School by promoting a work environment characterized by fair treatment of all employees, open communication, personal accountability, trust and mutual respect.
We aspire to be a community where all members feel an equitable sense of belonging. We are many voices, but one Lawrenceville.
If only the country could be like the environment here at Lawrenceville, where it is open-minded, inclusive, embracing of love, and rejecting of hate. I hope that everyone here, especially the students take this environment everywhere they are.
When I came here, I felt I was a good teacher, but thanks to our wonderful students, the Harkness table, and an impressive group of talented colleagues, chairs, and Deans I feel I have taken my teaching to the next level. My job is not a job, it is a lifestyle that I have chosen because I believe that I can make a difference in the students' lives on a daily basis.
Here at Lawrenceville, I have the opportunity to interact with students, faculty, and staff by being involved in academic life as well as student activities. Through these experiences, my appreciation for our beautiful campus, supportive community, and amazing students grows each day.
