5 Questions 4 Justin Hogue ‘25

What superpower would Justin Hogue ’25 like to have? Would he use it to ace his favorite science class? All this and more in 5 Questions 4!

What Lawrenceville class are you most looking forward to next year?

The class I'm looking forward to the most is probably ICAPS [Inquiries in Chemical and Physical Sciences] or Lawrentians [Lawrenceville’s “varsity” choir]. I was in the Lawrenceville Singers this year and I really enjoyed being a part of the choir. Science is also one of my passions and I'm excited to explore chemistry and physics.

Favorite treat at Gingered Peach?

Everything's pretty good but definitely the cinnamon rolls.

What is your favorite book or movie?

Anything “Harry Potter.” I love the magic and I love that they go to a big boarding school. However, the “Rush Hour” movies are a close second.

If you could have any superpower, what would you choose?

I would have super strength. I know it’s a cliché but it would be really useful and make me a beast on the football field and on the mats.

If you had to be shipwrecked on a deserted island, but all your human needs—such as food and water—were taken care of, what two items would you want to have with you?

I would want to have my keyboard and my trumpet. Music is another passion of my mine and I don't know if I could go without the ability to make it.
