All Hands On “Desk”!
It was an all-hands-on “desk” effort as students and faculty came together Friday afternoon to construct 170 desks for use in socially distanced Harkness classrooms. Led by Dean of Academics Dave Laws and Design & Fabrication Director Rex Brodie, who designed the prototype and problem-solved materials and production, the team helped prepare and install the desks ahead of in-person classes beginning this Thursday.
