Grant Shueh ’23 Honored by ASCAP & Live Poets Society of N.J.

Grant Shueh ’23 has been honored this summer as both a composer and poet. He is one of five composers under the age of 18 to be recognized by the ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composers Award (honorable mention) competition. The award program grants cash prizes to concert music composers up to 30 years of age whose works are selected through a juried national competition. His poem, “Night,” was a topical winner in the 24th annual National High School Poetry Contest, sponsored by the Live Poets Society of New Jersey. “Night” will be published in the summer edition of “Just Poetry!!! National Poetry Quarterly.”
