- Alumni
Today, Lawrenceville honors all veterans, particularly the 143 alumni who made the ultimate sacrifice as members of the U.S. Armed Services during World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.
Celebrations began Thursday morning at the weekly all-School meeting. Registrar Frank Fernandez discussed the importance of service and his own military experiences, particularly as a Petty Officer, Second Class, during the first Gulf War in the aircraft carrier the U.S.S. John F. Kennedy.
This afternoon, the Lawrenceville Veterans Alumni Association (LVets) will gather virtually to toast the Armed Forces. This virtual program will be hosted on a customized Lawrenceville virtual platform that allows guests to connect 1:1 and in small groups, explore the custom Lawrenceville virtual world, and gather for the closing address.
Many members of the Lawrenceville School community, including alumni and employees, have served in the U.S. military, including in theaters of war. These current Lawrenceville employees are U.S. military veterans and we thank them all for their service:
