Nushana Huq ’23 Fundraises for Racial Equality & COVID-19 Support

Nushana Huq ’23 had a decision to make. Should this highly motivated teen pursue her passion for supporting on-going social justice causes in the United States or aid COVID-19 victims in Bangladesh? Being a Lawrentian, she naturally decided to do both.

Her website, artbeneficial.com, features art for sale to benefit Color of Change (to assist the Black Lives Matter movement) and the JAAGO Foundation (to assist Bangladesh citizens impacted by COVID-19). Huq’s family and friends create the extraordinary paintings, drawings, and needlework available for purchase.

Learn more in Huq’s interview with the Dhaka Tribune.
