Virtual Parents Weekend: Oct. 16-17

Lawrenceville’s Parents Weekend, happening October 16-17, is going virtual this year!

Families are already scheduling zoom parent-teacher conferences to learn more about the academic progress of their Lawrentian. A wealth of information on the college admission process – tailored to students in all Forms - will be offered at virtual sessions throughout the weekend by members of the College Counseling department.

Rick Holifield (Dean of Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement) and Steve Murray (Head of School) will share both the progress and on-going work on Lawrenceville’s action plan to create and support an anti-racist campus. Dee Apple will address ways the School’s Counseling and Psychological Services department (which he heads) is working to safeguard the emotional health of Lawrentians during these challenging times.

Finally, it wouldn’t be Parents Weekend without a play! Lawrenceville’s Periwig Club will present “Clue: On Stage,” a performance that will honor the School’s Best for All agreement, with socially distant movement, mask-wearing practices, and appropriate hygiene precautions. Parents can watch this hilarious, one-act, dark comedy via simulcast – details have been shared with all current families via email.
