Meg Barnes Selected to 2018 Max All-New Jersey Region Second Team
Congratulations to Meg Barnes ’19, named to the 2018 Max All-New Jersey Region High School Field Hockey Second Team. She’s among only 50 New Jerseyans recognized on Max Regional First and Second Teams for her outstanding field hockey play.
Barnes is heading to Dartmouth next year where she’ll compete for Big Green instead of Big Red. The midfielder has received numerous field hockey honors, including four-time selection to the All-NJISAA and All-MAPL First Teams. She’s been chosen three times for both the Trentonian All-Prep and Central Jersey Field Hockey Coaches Association First Teams. Barnes was also the Trentonian’s 2018 Offensive Player of the Year and selected by the Times of Trenton to its 2018 All-Area Team and as Prep Player of the Year. As a four-year varsity player, Barnes helped lead Big Red to four NJISAA, three Mercer County, and two MAPL championships.

Through House and Harkness, Lawrenceville challenges a diverse community of promising young people to lead lives of learning, integrity, and high purpose. Our mission is to inspire the best in each to seek the best for all.
