Highlights for the Boys
Bob Fish and Jay Swindell ran well in the 55 dash with Jay setting a personal record of 7.79. Will Murray competed in the long jump and made the finals, leaping 21-02.
Highlights for the Girls
In the seeded section of the 4x800m relay Marcia Ojo, Margaux Terrasson, Allison Haworth and Kiera Duffy shattered the school record, posting an incredible time of 9:27, which qualifies them for the Championship division in New Balance Indoor Nationals on March 9. Ojo and Terrasson teamed up with Grace Faircloth and Laila Ritter in the 4x400m, all notching personal records in the quartet’s fastest race of the season, finishing third in 4:02.
Ashley Warren became the first Lawrenceville girl to make the long jump finals, leaping to a personal record of 17'9.5. Bella Ricardo continues to shine in big meet settings. Ricardo had huge day in the triple jump, winning her flight and posting a season best 33'11. Captain Amy Aririguzoh cleared 5'6 in the high jump, good for second place overall. Captain Kendall Onley made the finals in the triple jump, finishing sixth.
