Southern Swing Trip Preps Girls’ Varsity Golf for Season Opener

Lawrenceville’s girls’ varsity golf team swings into action on Saturday, March 30, with a road match against the Peddie School at 1:00 p.m. The girls returned to campus after an amazing spring training trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., where they spent March 16-22 fine-tuning their games. “We played on some of the best courses in South Carolina,” said girls’ varsity golf head coach Ron Kane.
The trip wasn’t all work and no play. Kane said the team bonded over “wonderful team dinners, time on the beach, and evening strolls at outdoor malls. It was a terrific experience for all involved.”
The first home match for the girls will be on Friday, April 12, beginning at 4:00 p.m.
