It came down to a buzzer beater, but after a week of free throws and rebounds, the Class of 2007 scored a slam dunk with 23 new gifts and a whopping 97 points. Head Master Steve Murray H’55 ’65 ’16 P’16 ’21 presented the game ball in a very special announcement from his office today to mark the win.
Classmates who made a gift during the Match Madness challenge will be receiving Lawrenceville swag in honor of their achievement. Recognition also goes to the Class of 1965 for a terrific second place showing with 56 points.
Congratulations to our second annual Match Madness champions, and thank you to all the alumni players whose participation in Match Madness raised $107,091 for The Lawrenceville Fund!

Retired U.S. Senator Jeff Flake (R-AZ) spoke at Lawrenceville on Monday evening, quoting Lincoln’s first inaugural address as he encouraged students to “search "for the better angels of our nature” during this time of political diverseness.
Through House and Harkness, Lawrenceville challenges a diverse community of promising young people to lead lives of learning, integrity, and high purpose. Our mission is to inspire the best in each to seek the best for all.
