Three School Records, Two Meets, One State Championship

Three School records, two meets, one state championship – all in just three days! Congratulations to the Big Red girls’ varsity outdoor track team, which smashed three school records and earned the NJISAA Prep A Championship on May 4 and May 6, respectively.
On May 4, the girls dominated the Mercer Coaches Classic, held at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North. Highlights included:
Captain Margaux Terrasson set a new School record in the 1600m (5:14.57). She now owns Lawrenceville records in five events.
Ashley Raynor, Marcia Ojo, Audrey Lazar, and Amy Arirguzoh ran 1:45.86, a new Lawrenceville record in the 4x200. This is Arirguzoh’s third School record.
Kat McGrath bested her own Lawrenceville record in the javelin by 12 feet, throwing a 136 bomb. She’s now ranked fourth in New Jersey.
Big Red captured the Prep A championship yesterday afternoon in a meet at the Peddie School.
First place finishers for Lawrenceville were:
Audrey Lazar: 100m (12.73) and 200m (26.96)
Ashley Orser: 400m hurdles, 1:11.87
Margaux Terrasson: 800m, 2:19.12
Jordyn Ford: high jump, 5’0
Kendall Onley: triple jump, 35’6”
