5 Questions 4: Anushka Agarwala

She’s usually behind the scenes of Periwig productions, but we’re putting her in the spotlight today! Meet Anushka Agarawala ‘20, newly selected to the Tour Guide Council, and find out why she loves tech crew, what musician she’ll recommend if you ask, and where she’d love to travel. All this and more in this week’s 5 Questions 4.
What has been your most personally meaningful community service project during your time at Lawrenceville?
For me, LPAC [Lawrenceville Performing Arts Camp] was the most meaningful because I got to share my passion for the arts with younger kids who were still exploring everything the world has to offer them.
You were on the tech crew for “Urinetown” and in the costume shop for “Guys and Dolls.” What do you love about working behind-the-scenes?
I just absolutely love the energy backstage and that feeling of complete happiness when the show goes off without a hitch. Also, all the techies I’ve worked with just make it so much fun!
What person, no longer living, would you most like to meet?
I would love to meet John Lennon because he inspired millions with his lyrics and I’ve grown up listening to his music so meeting him would be a dream come true.
If you could have an all-expenses paid trip anywhere, where would you go?
I would definitely want to go to Spain because it has such a rich history and some pretty good food so that would be super nice especially since it’s all paid ;).
What artist or band do you always recommend when someone asks for a music recommendation?
Without a doubt I would recommend Elton John 100% of the time someone asks me that. I just love his music so much.
