The Trentonian has lauded Lucy Gutman ’19 as one of its 2019 High School Girls’ Lacrosse Unsung Players. Writer Joe O’Gorman said of Gutman:
“Gutman was the soul of the Big Red defense and it was her paly that many times was the catalyst for a potent attack. A tireless worker and solid leader, she brought a positive attitude to the field every time out.”
Gutman played on nine varsity teams at Lawrenceville, competing not only in lacrosse, but also in soccer, basketball, and indoor track and field. On June 1, Gutman received the School’s Catherine Boczkowski Award, given to young woman in the graduating class who best exemplifies personal moral integrity and loyalty to Lawrenceville.
