Congratulations to Woodhull House, winners of the 2019 House Olympics! This was the Mighty Wood’s third victory since the House Olympics began in 2003. Carter House finished second and Dickinson was third.
House pride was on colorful (and loud!) display as Circle and Crescent residents battled through tug-of-war, potato sack race, hippety-hop race, three legged race, the name game, and, of course the famous tricycle race. Competition was fierce, but friendly and provided a stirring start to the new School year.

Retired U.S. Senator Jeff Flake (R-AZ) spoke at Lawrenceville on Monday evening, quoting Lincoln’s first inaugural address as he encouraged students to “search "for the better angels of our nature” during this time of political diverseness.
Through House and Harkness, Lawrenceville challenges a diverse community of promising young people to lead lives of learning, integrity, and high purpose. Our mission is to inspire the best in each to seek the best for all.
