Lawrentians Guide Virtual Scholars to Success

Spot any familiar faces? Some may have just graduated and some are coming back this fall, but all are involved as Teaching Assistants (TAs) with Lawrenceville Virtual Scholars (LVS) this summer. LVS TAs are a combination of teacher and mentor for the scholars, helping demonstrate a Harkness Move of the Day, planning House activities like House Cup competitions, and working with faculty to help students in classes.
The 2020 TAs are: Nikhil Ajjarapu ’20, Charlie Christoffersen ’18, Simon Cull ’20, Ben Cunningham ’18, Will Dawson ’20, Alex Kowal ’20, Kelsey McAlister ’20, Kate McCann ’22, Ashley Orser ’19, Billy Paul ’18, Savon Rawlins ’20, Lauren Recto ’20, Louis Sardain ’20, Mullika Sahrawat ’19, Victoria Scholtz ’20, Arya Singh ’20, Andrew Tokarski ’20, Hannah Welsh ’21 and Jasmine Zhang ’20.
Welsh says of the summer so far, "My favorite part of the program has definitely been getting to know the kids in both the classroom and the House. It’s also fun getting a behind the scenes glimpse at all the work that goes into teaching!"
