Who does Andrew Boanoh ’23 want to meet around a Harkness table? What’s his favorite book? And why is he taking Latin? All this and more in 5 Questions 4!
If you could have any superpower, what would you choose?
All of the mental powers. I could theoretically have access to all human knowledge at any point in time, move things with my mind, and not even have to give up my identity.
If you could travel back in time, when and where would you go?
People always ask why I take Latin, saying stuff like, "Who are you going to talk to?" Well, joke’s on you, I'm heading back to Ancient Rome in 50 BC and talking to Julius Caesar.
What is your favorite book or movie?
“The DaVinci Code” by Dan Brown. It is a James Bond-type thriller with tons of mystery and history woven in. The movie is great, too.
What’s the most important thing you’ve learned since the start of the pandemic?
Time is absolutely invaluable.
If you could be part of a Harkness discussion with any three figures from history, who would you choose?
Kwame Nkrumah, Malcolm X, and Nelson Mandela. I would simply sit and listen in awe.
