Lawrenceville Crew Defeats Peddie & Keeps the Brown Cup
Congratulations to the boys’ and girls’ varsity crew squads on keeping the Brown Cup at Lawrenceville!
The Brown Cup is a points trophy, established in 1994, based on the results of the boys’ and girls’ 1V (varsity), 4+, 2V4+, 3V4+ and N (novice) 8+ races, with weighted points awarded. After racing on May 1 at the Caspersen Rowing Center, Mercer Lake, (West Windsor, N.J.), the two schools tied at 46 all. The tie was broken in Lawrenceville's favor since Lawrenceville had won both 3V4+ races.
