It’s official: Marcia Ojo ’21 now holds the Lawrenceville School girl’s indoor track record in the 600m! Ojo earned the honor on a very big stage, finishing the 600m in 1:41.68 at the 65th annual Bishop Loughlin Games on Dec. 16. The record was confirmed over Lawrenceville's Winter Break by the School's Indoor Track Program Director Erik Chaput.
Ojo is now a three event record holder for Lawrenceville track. In addition to her stellar performance in the 600m, she was part of both the indoor 4x800m (9:42.57) and outdoor 4x800m relay (9:28.88) record-setting teams last year along with Jesse Brewer ’18, Margaux Terrasson ’19, and Carolyn King ’20.

Retired U.S. Senator Jeff Flake (R-AZ) spoke at Lawrenceville on Monday evening, quoting Lincoln’s first inaugural address as he encouraged students to “search "for the better angels of our nature” during this time of political diverseness.
Through House and Harkness, Lawrenceville challenges a diverse community of promising young people to lead lives of learning, integrity, and high purpose. Our mission is to inspire the best in each to seek the best for all.
