College Admissions and the College Counseling Process at Lawrenceville - For Fourth Form Parents, Woods Memorial Hall, Heely Room
Meet with Holly Burks Becker and Jeff Durso-Finley, Co-Directors of College Counseling, as they cover the college process in both broad strokes and concentrated detail for the year ahead. This session will also be given on Saturday at 9:00 am in Kirby Arts Center.
Expedition-based learning: Lawrenceville in Ecuador, Noyes History Center, Ambrecht Room
Science Master Dr. John L. Clark will share examples of Lawrentians actively engaged in research including documenting rare plants in the remote rainforests of Ecuador and performing DNA sequencing to study their evolutionary history. Ongoing research through the Hutchins Scholars Program, in collaboration with botanists from the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, has also resulted in recent discoveries. Clark will share examples of lab and field-based research that have resulted in student directed publications and presentations.
College Admissions Update - For Fifth Form Parents, Woods Memorial Hall, Heely Room
Holly Burks Becker and Jeff Durso-Finley, Co-Directors of College Counseling, will update Fifth Form parents about important topics, discuss current relevant issues and offer an opportunity to answer questions about where the Class of 2019 stands in the overall process. This session will also be given on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in Kirby Arts Center.
Sustainability Tour, meet at the Stuart Deans Garden just outside the Al Rashid Strength and Conditioning Center.
Director of Sustainability Sam Kosoff, Director of Sustainable Fare Gary Giberson, Big Red Farm Operations Manager Ian MacDonald, and Big Red Farm Program Manager Stephen Laubach will take you on a tour of our campus farm, garden, and solar farm and discuss our efforts to promote student learning about campus-produced vegetables, meat, and renewable energy.

Registrar Frank Fernandez will show parents how to get the most out of the Parent Portal and give tips on working with this system.
