Three beaming faces turn to look at me, and I smile widely back. “We’re ready!” the three girls exclaim, exerting confidence while giving me the signal to start the music. I click the play button, and “Let It Go” from Disney’s “Frozen” begins playing: “The snow glows white on the mountain tonight…”
Each year, Lawrenceville hosts the Big Red Race (BRR), a charity event where all proceeds go directly to the Lawrenceville School Camp. School Camp is a summer camp in Warren County, N.J,. that has supported local, underserved youth for over 100 years.
The weekend of February 2, 2018 was an unforgettable journey as the girls’ Big Red varsity squash team established a remarkable legacy in School history and will forever be engraved in my memory as one of my best Lawrenceville experiences.
Through House and Harkness, Lawrenceville challenges a diverse community of promising young people to lead lives of learning, integrity, and high purpose. Our mission is to inspire the best in each to seek the best for all.
