SAVE THE DATE
COMMENCEMENT WEEKEND MAY 30-31, 2020

Graduation weekend for the Class of 2020 will be May 30-31. If you are coming from a distance and need a hotel room, please make a reservation as soon as possible. This is a busy weekend in the Princeton area, and the hotels have all raised their prices and are filling quickly. In fact, some hotels are not blocking rooms for these dates since they coincide with Princeton’s reunion weekend.

Thursday, May 28
5:00pm   Pre-prom gala in Kirby Arts Center (parents are welcome to attend).
6:30pm Buses depart campus for senior prom (returning around 3:00 a.m. the next morning).
Late Night   Prom guests return about 3:00 a.m. and go to bed; day students are picked up on campus by parents.

Friday, May 29
 
11:00am - 1:00pm   Fifth Form brunch in Abbott Dining Hall.
1:30pm - 2:15pm Baccalaureate rehearsal in Chapel.
Evening Dinner is available for Fifth Formers on campus. If families wish to dine with their students, they should do so in local restaurants.

Saturday, May 30
2:30pm   Fifth Form Prize ceremony ceremony for all graduates and guests in Kirby Arts Center.
3:30pm Tea reception for seniors and families under the trees between Hogate and KAC. Rain location in Kirby Arts Center.
5:00pm Baccalaureate service at 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel for graduates, faculty and staff. Parents are invited to watch a simulcast of the service in Kirby Arts Center.
6:00pm Dinner in Irwin for families (this is optional - families may dine off-campus).
11:00pm   Aurelian Speaker & yearbook signing Abbott– Fifth Form gathering and yearbook signing, with Aurelian speaker and food in Abbott. This is a student-faculty event (families are not invited).

Sunday, May 31
 
7:00am   Breakfast available in Irwin.
8:00am Graduation rehearsal in the Bowl (Field House in case of rain).
9:30am Presentation of Roses to graduates on Kirby Math & Science Patio (inside in case of rain).
10:00am    Line up for Commencement outside the Bowl (Field House in case of rain).
10:30am Commencement ceremony begins.
12:00pm - 1:30pm   Post Commencement light lunch for graduates, families, and faculty between Hogate and KAC. Rain location in Irwin Dining Center.
