Houses
Each Lawrenceville student belongs to a House. A House is a residential building which also serves as home base for our day students. Our Houses are located in three areas of campus — one for second formers (ninth grade), one for third- and fourth-formers (10th and 11th grade), and one for fifth-form seniors.
Our 18 residential Houses are intentionally designed to support growth and engagement at each grade level. Here, students form lifelong friendships in a dynamic and diverse setting, develop leadership skills, and contribute to a distinct House culture.

Classrooms and Library
Our academic building are designed for their subject matter. From our quiet, comfortable Harkness classrooms to our science labs, workshops, and large meeting spaces, we are always aware of how an environment affects learning. Sitting around one common table in light-filled, uncrowded classrooms makes our learning environment feel comfortable, safe, and inclusive.
The Bunn Library is a presence in all aspects of life at Lawrenceville and, while it is felt throughout the campus, its physical space is an important part of our community. Whether students are looking for a quiet space to relax and focus or a welcoming gathering room to facilitate group work, club events, presentations, or just reading together, the library has something for everyone.

Through interscholastic and intramural competition, lifetime sports and activities, and a comprehensive fitness program, participation in Big Red Athletics builds character, instills team values, and sets a standard for lifelong wellness.
Our numerous state-of-the-art facilities are built to transform student athletes from curious individuals to courageous competitors. At Lawrenceville, athletics is a co-curricular program - it's an extension of the classroom and the values of our community. The skills learned through athletic education will help students flourish in competition, in the classroom, and for the rest of their lives.

Arts Spaces
Performing Arts at Lawrenceville provides a vibrant, inspiring, supportive, and challenging community. The Juliet Lyell Staunton Clark Music Center and Kirby Arts Center are dedicated spaces that include music classrooms, recording and practice studios, our auditorium, dance studios, and performance spaces for all disciplines.
The Gruss Center for Art and Design is a hub for innovation, collaboration, and creativity in all disciplines. Whether your concept requires a 3D printer, a laser cutter, or a simple paintbrush and palette, GCAD is the place to create and achieve whatever ideas your imagination can craft. The Hutchins Galleries are a home for the Lawrenceville School's permanent collection of art and a host for rotating exhibits of working, regional artists.

Dining and Community
While Houses are a student's home base, they are far from the only place that feels like home at Lawrenceville. Our campus is designed to facilitate socialization, wellness activities, and memorable gatherings. From large, outdoor areas to cozy study rooms, students always have spaces that support their needs.
Lawrenceville's approach to dining is unique; the whole community eats at the same time - removing scheduling conflicts and ensuring the opportunity to bring everyone together for positive interaction. It's not just about refueling, but also sharing stories about our days, talking through problems, or just sitting down to relax and enjoy each other's company.
