Feeding Our
Community
Food is an important part of day-to-day life at Lawrenceville. One thing that makes Lawrenceville unique is our approach to dining; the schedule is intentionally designed to prioritize the whole community eating at the same time — bringing everyone together for positive interaction. It's not just about refueling, but also sharing stories about our days, talking through challenges, or just sitting down to relax and enjoy each other's company.

Dining Spaces

Tsai Commons
A two-level dining hall for underformers, faculty, and staff provides an opportunity for the majority of the community to eat together in one space.

Abbott Dining Hall
The Fifth Form eats in the Abbott Dining Hall of the Upper House. This beautiful, open space includes meeting rooms and an outdoor patio.

The Bath House
The Bath House is a small cafe that is open to the community all day. A glass-walled seating area and an outdoor patio are available for personal and community use.
Farm to Table
The Big Red Farm enriches our community by growing nutritious food that connects hands, heads, and hearts to the land. The Farm supplies the School dining halls and area food pantries with 15 varieties of vegetables including tomatoes, lettuce, peppers, kale, cucumbers, and squash. We also produce tea blends from medicinal plants, eggs, honey, and cut flowers.
